Calcium makes bone strong<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calcium is instrumental\nin the <strong>formation and metabolism of bone<\/strong>. Calcium is found in the form of\nCalcium hydroxyapatite in bones and teeth that provides <strong>hardness to the bone\nand teeth<\/strong>. It triggers muscle contraction by reacting with muscle fiber actin and myosin. In the presence of Calcium, actin and myosin come closer resulting in muscle contraction.
