Calcium supplements can fill the gap between the amount of calcium supplemented by your diet and the amount your body needs every day. The recommended amount for most adults is 1,000 mg per day, but it increases to 1,200 mg per day for women over 50 and men over 70.

Truebasics advance calcium tablets or any other calcium supplements do not cause kidney stones if taken as per the recommended daily dose. However, if intake exceeds 1500 mg/day, the risk of developing kidney stones increases.
